Wal-Mart entering the market of DRM-Free

Wanna know about DRM-Free music-------->>>>>>>>
.
.
DRM acutally (Digital Rights/Restrictions Management) is a technology that music distributors put on the files they sell to restrict your use of the music. DRM complicates or disallows selection of different media players (both on your computer and physical devices), backing up your music and many other legal, fair-use applications of the content you've purchased. Distributors also reserve the right to change the restrictions at any time, so what you agree to today may be completely different tomorrow. Often, these restrictions can lead to being unable to listen to the music you purchased, so if you have a choice, opt for the DRM-free music files!!!
.
.
Till now Apple's i-Tunes was only the popular site for downloading DRM-Free music but now Wal-Mart Stores Inc started selling digital music downloads on its web-site...
.
.
Apple's i-Tunes charges $1.29 for downloading a single track where-as Wal-Mart is charging just 99 cents per a track or $9.22 per album ..
.
.
Wal-Mart also said its new format can be played on any system including Apple's iPod , iPhone , Microsoft's Zune media portable player ..
.
.
Wal-Mart's move into DRM-free downloads comes as major record labels debate whether dropping DRM will hurt digital music sales or encourage piracy. Copy protection software prevents unauthorized copying of a digital song bought from an online store, but it also limits where an owner can listen to it ..
.
.
Wonder how much competation these two Giants Apple and Wal-Mart face with each other !!!
